On Friday Room 1 was lucky enough to have Sarah B come in with her icing tools at the ready. We loved decorating Christmas trees, Grinches and candy canes!

End of year trip to Christchurch...
Last week the whole of Netherby School took buses up to Christchurch to check out the Canterbury Museum, the Christchurch Art Gallery and the Margaret Mahy Playground. Wonderful fun was had by all. Thanks to Sarah Bartlett for the photos!
Pizza Making - Healthy Eating Parent's Afternoon - Term 3
As a part of our Healthy Eating unit in Term 3, Room 1 planned, prepared and cooked (and ate!) 12 amazing and yummy healthy pizzas to share with our whanau. Some of the children in Room 1 have very adventurous tastes!
Flower Power Hour!
On Thursday Mrs McCully organised our biannual FLOWER POWER day... The theme this year was Christmas table decoration. We had lots of support from our awesome parents, with special thanks going to Maureen and Sarah for their help. I was so impressed with the calibre of Room 1's displays. What do you think?
