At the start of the year the classroom was looking a little dark and dingy. We decided to brighten it up with some stained glass windows. Children did some research into making their windows personal. Here we are in action!
Mrs Oakley’s lunchbox By Jaykob and Maddison Today in Mrs Oakley’s lunchbox there is something that looks like a brown and crumbly rectangle. It’s as flaky as a Cadbury’s flake blowing in the wind. It feels as crunchy as a sweaty sock that’s been left to dry in the sun. Just like a dry old sock it feels harder than Mrs Oakley’s cast. It smells like a field of wheat and dry like a desert. I hope you have a better dinner tonight, Mrs Oakley!
This is the new home of ANS Room One's blog. Please return often to check for updates, photos and articles by the children and adults in the class. Happy exploring!
Exciting news in Room 1! Our first butterfly has emerged from it's pupa. Only 2 to go. We have watched these creatures emerge as larvae from eggs and grow into huge caterpillars. During maths one day we even saw one of the caterpillars transform into a pupa. So fantastic and gross! Here are some pictures.
